Bob Brown (Appointed by the Board of Selectmen)
Originally slated to be a geology major, Bob ended up going to a seminary to become a prison chaplain. He had the unique job of serving as an associate Chaplain at a Massachusetts state prison in Walpole. Bob moved to Westborough in 1959 to serve as the Protestant Chaplain at the Lyman School for Boys reform school where he worked with many teenage boys to help them turn their lives around. He later became the head of the school before it closed. Bob has always wanted to work with and help people, and his work with WTV is an extension of this desire. Bob has been involved at Westborough TV for several years. His interest in making sure the contributions of Westborough residents to the town are recognized inspired him to create My Westborough Story. The idea for Bob’s newest show Inside the Circle comes from his and co-host Jim Tepper’s own experiences learning to care for their wives with Alzheimer’s disease. They want the show to provide care-givers information about Alzheimer’s. During his time on the Board of Directors, Bob has worked to inform the community, especially Senior Citizens, about the information WTV’s programming provides its viewers.

Today, he brings his knowledge of finance to the Board of Directors as Treasurer and to the town’s Economic Development Committee.
