Westborough TV provides the town of Westborough with excellent facilities for creating programs to air on Community Television. The programs at Westborough TV are created by volunteer producers, people who live in Westborough and are interested in their town, their community, and their television station.Town residents can find creative fulfillment and personal satisfaction here at Westborough TV.

What are your friends and neighbors doing here at Westborough TV? They have produced talk shows, art shows, governmental meetings, movies, documentaries, and more. There is almost no limit to what can be produced here.

How can you become trained? Register for the next series of Certification Workshops. These workshops will show you everything from operating a camera to lighting a set to directing a show. And do not be intimidated, because you are never alone. You always have someone to ask a question or try out an idea on.

Portable Camera
This is a one session workshop. During this time you will become acquainted with the portable cameras we use on location shoots. You will learn the camera’s features and controls, tripod usage and techniques for shooting an event in the field

Studio Camera
This workshop also meets for a single session, during which time you will operate the studio cameras. Topics covered include camera controls and movement, tripod usage, director’s commands and shot composition.
Portable Production
This is a single session workshop, during which time you will learn to use portable lights and microphones as well as advanced techniques for covering an event.

Studio Production
This Workshop meets one day a week for three to four weeks. Here you will learn to produce a studio show. Topics covered include the studio process, studio jobs, the switcher, the audio mixer and studio lighting.

Editing
This single session workshop will familiarize you with our editing systems. Topics include the editing process, videotape, the decks and controllers, editing scripts and storyboards and production tips.
